On productivity and change 8-)

Wow. This week has actually started off quite productively! The work on my thesis is going if not smoothly, then at least forward, especially since I found some similarities (theme-wise) to earlier writing of mine. Which of course meant that I got a couple of "new" sources to use. Yay!

Other things have gone my way, too. small things mostly, but still. I would just love to believe that this means I am finding my way back after all of the recent stress factors, but of course I don't want to take that for granted either... Anyway, I do enjoy finally getting things done, after a period of serious problems focusing and motivating myself.

I worry a bit about the future too, but I tend to find it easier to cope with actual changes (good or bad) much better than the fear of things eventually changing. I mean, once you know something is going to happen, then - at least - you know. And that's when you can start working on stuff.

Really sleepy now... Quick nap or dinner..? Hum... dinner it is!

Writer's block?

I have to start writing posts again soon! I really want to, and I have missed the writing a lot - but for some reason I just can't seem to get myself to it. I wonder why... I should probably just start writing and see what happens.

bad placement or Father issues..?

I saw this amazing example of sign placement in a shop window we passed on our way to town last night... It's in Finnish and translates as something like  "Remember Father 14.11... * we sharpen your knives!" I stood laughing my ass of in the middle of the sidewalk and just had to snap a picture... Two out of three friends saw the funny...
